Featuring Roman Travertine pebbles suspended on signature hammered gold-filled fringe, these earrings celebrate a clean, modern silhouette. Reminiscent of perfectly tumbled white and tan beach stones, Roman Travertine is a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs. Originally mined in Tivoli, Rome, where much of our Roman Travertine still comes from, the stone is most commonly used as a building material, as seen in Sacré-Coeur, the Colosseum, the Getty House, and many works by Mies van der Rohe.
