Vincent Pidone

Vincent’s drawings are manifestations of his dedication to the efficacy of materials and process. For Mary MacGill, Vincent employed frottage — rubbing graphite over various textures — to create an analog version of “sampling.” Vincent takes two or three impressions of the same textural material, overlapping each, often generating a moiré pattern.  Vincent is a Kingston, New York, native.
