In a nod to form and function, a single Keshi pearl floats on a 14k chain just above the collarbone and serves as both the centerpiece and clasp of this minimal necklace. The word “keshi” comes from the Japanese “keshinomi,” which means poppy seed — an apt descriptor of these small pearls formed by Akoya oysters.
