In a nod to form and function, a single black Keshi pearl floats on a 14k solid gold chain serving as both the centerpiece and clasp of this minimal necklace. Chain is 2mm thick and measures 17.25" long.
The word “keshi” comes from the Japanese “keshinomi,” which means poppy seed — an apt descriptor of these small pearls formed by Akoya oysters.
